In August 2007, we undertook a full refurbishment of the gym
including new showers to the girls' changing room, redecoration and

in donating various supplies for this work to be undertaken including
Buildrite Trade & DIY Supplies Ltd, Delta Plumbing, Jewson and Lomand

In 1997 with the help of Weymouth & Portland Council, the boxing
club applied to the Lottery Fund for a grant to improve the gymnasium,
and were successful in receiving £27,000.
These monies were spent on a complete refurbishment of the premises at
32a Hardwick Street, with all new equipment, a new heating system, new
showers and toilets for lady members and a new medical room.
The 'Weymouth Amateur Boxing Club' is now one of the best equipped in
the South and the envy of many who visit it.
